People have ask me all of the time how I get the traffic I get. I post on occasion, but I am sure that the posts I make are top-notch. In order to have a blog with a large following, it is important for you to reach out to other blogs.
I am a strong believer in guest posting and I strongly recommend that you make a guest post at least once a month. I say once a month, because the more guest posts you make, the better. Don’t go crazy, though.
When you make a guest post, you are getting some of the traffic of the other person’s blog. You’re also getting an easy backlink. These backlinks can be hard to come by. When Google goes to your site (or crawls), the way it gets there is from a backlink (or submitted URL).
The more backlinks you have, the more weight you pull on Google searches. This means you can easily get more traffic. This is why you need to do guest posts on other blogs. You’re welcome for stating the obvious. Link me please?
